چکیده

Abstract In this paper, a dynamic interaction model of the coupled system railway bridge, foundation, subsoil, ballast, track, and high-speed train is presented, with special emphasis on longitudinal between track bridge structure, taking into account flexibility ballast. After description system, equations motion are given separately for each subsystem. The discretization bedded rails performed by two different approaches. first approach, deflection expanded eigenfunctions finitely long beam representing rails. second, simplified response represented superposition static infinitely due to concentrated load. coupling structure achieved component mode synthesis technique, which in approach leads representation state-space. A discrete substructure technique used couple subsystem model. presented strategies verified comparison results finite element system. Several application examples reveal influence horizontal track–bridge other modeling parameters response.

Dynamic Analysis of Railway Bridges under High Speed Trains

The interest in dynamic behavior of railway bridges has increased in recent years with the introduction of high speed trains. Higher speeds of the trains have resulted in larger and more complicated loads than earlier, producing significant dynamic effects. The dynamic aspects are of special interest and have often shown to be the governing factor in the structural design. Dynamic analysis of r...

Dynamic analysis of high speed railway bridge under articulated trains

The problem of vehicle–bridge dynamic interaction system under articulated high speed trains is studied in this paper. A dynamic interaction model of the bridge-articulated train system is established, which is composed of an articulated vehicle element model and a finite element bridge model. The vehicle model is established according to the structure and suspending properties of the articulat...

Study on Braking Panels in High Speed Trains Using CFD

With speed increasing in high-speed trains, due to limitations of other types of brakes, aerodynamic brake has become an important braking method. In this task to make better use of brake’s panel different configurations are examined and the best panel shape which provides the reasonable drag coefficient is introduced. The results of simulations are carried out with the computational fluid dyna...

An Evacuation Model for High Speed Trains

In this paper we present a stochastic evacuation model specifically for high speed passenger trains. The proposed model is an object-oriented model in which passengers are represented using a cellular automata method and the train space by a fine network of 0.5 m x 0.5 m cells. The model is based on Monte Carlo methods in order to simulate the probability and effects of passengers’ actions and ...

Multiple Pantograph Interaction with Catenaries in High-Speed Trains

This work presents a fully three-dimensional methodology for the computational analysis of the interaction between catenary and pantographs. The finite element method is used to support the modeling of the catenary while a multibody dynamics methodology is applied to support the pantograph modeling. The contact between the two subsystems is described using a penalty contact formulation. An high...
